गते हि मयि तत्रेयं राजपुत्री यशस्विनी ।
परित्राणमविन्दन्ती जानकी जीवितं त्यजेत् ।

Gate hi mayi tatreyaṃ rājaputrī yaśasvinī । Paritrāṇamavindantī jānakī jīvitaṃ tyajet । । ॥5-30-9॥
Translation
For if I leave, this illustrious princess Janaki, finding no means of rescue, will surely give up her life.
हिंदी अनुवाद
मेरे चले जाने पर, रक्षा का कोई उपाय न पाकर यह यशस्विनी राजकुमारी जानकी निश्चय ही अपने प्राण त्याग देंगी।
English Commentary
This verse underscores the immediate crisis. Hanuman deduces that Sita is at her breaking point. The term paritrāṇamavindantī (finding no rescue) suggests she has reached the end of her endurance. Hanuman realizes that the timeline for the physical rescue (Rama arriving with the army) is too long; Sita needs an immediate psychological rescue to survive until then. His departure without speaking would essentially sign her death warrant.

हनुमान जी स्थिति की गंभीरता (Urgency) का आकलन कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने अभी देखा है कि सीता आत्महत्या का विचार कर रही थीं। यदि हनुमान उन्हें बिना सांत्वना दिए लौट जाते हैं, तो राम के सेना लेकर आने तक सीता जीवित ही नहीं रहेंगी। 'परित्राणमविन्दन्ती' (बचाव का उपाय न पाकर) शब्द सीता की चरम हताशा को दर्शाता है। हनुमान जी समझते हैं कि उनकी वापसी की यात्रा और राम के आगमन के बीच का समय सीता के धैर्य की सीमा से बाहर है।
