रक्षिता स्वस्य धर्मस्य स्वजनस्य च रक्षिता ।
रक्षिता जीवलोकस्य धर्मस्य च परन्तपः ।

rakṣitā svasya dharmasya svajanasya ca rakṣitā । rakṣitā jīvalokasya dharmasya ca parantapaḥ । । 5.31.7।। ॥5-31-7॥
Translation
"He is the protector of his own dharma and the protector of his own people. He is the protector of the living world and of righteousness, and the scorcher of foes."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"वे अपने धर्म की रक्षा करने वाले और अपने स्वजनों के रक्षक हैं। वे सम्पूर्ण जीवलोक और वैदिक धर्म (मर्यादा) के रक्षक हैं, तथा शत्रुओं को संताप देने वाले (परन्तप) हैं।"
English Commentary
The word 'Rakshita' (protector) is repeated four times in this verse. This carries a profound message for Sita: Will the Rama who protects the entire cosmos, dharma, and his people, not protect his own wife? Certainly, he will. The term 'Parantapa' (scorcher of foes) adds that while he is a protector to the good, he is a destroyer to the wicked. Hanuman is reviving Sita's sense of security and hope in Rama.

इस श्लोक में 'रक्षिता' (रक्षक) शब्द की चार बार आवृत्ति हुई है। यह सीता जी के लिए एक गहरा संदेश है: जो राम पूरे विश्व और धर्म की रक्षा करते हैं, क्या वे अपनी पत्नी की रक्षा नहीं करेंगे? अवश्य करेंगे। 'परन्तप' (शत्रुतापन) शब्द यह चेतावनी देता है कि जो राम रक्षक हैं, वे शत्रुओं के लिए विनाशक भी हैं। हनुमान जी सीता जी के मन में सुरक्षा की भावना (Security) और राम के प्रति आशा को पुनर्जीवित कर रहे हैं।
