रोदनादतिनिःश्वासाद्भूमिं संस्पर्शनादपि ।
न त्वां देवीमहं मन्ये राज्ञः संज्ञावधारणात् ।

Rodanādatiniḥśvāsādbhūmiṃ saṃsparśanādapi । Na tvāṃ devīmahaṃ manye rājñaḥ saṃjñāvadhāraṇāt । 。 ॥5-33-11॥
Translation
Because of your weeping, deep sighing, and touching of the ground, I do not consider you a goddess. Based on the marks of royalty, I believe you to be a queen.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तुम्हारे रोने से, दीर्घ निःश्वास लेने से और भूमि का स्पर्श करने से, मैं तुम्हें देवी नहीं मानता। (राजचिह्नों को देखकर) मुझे लगता है तुम किसी राजा की महिषी (रानी) हो।
English Commentary
Hanuman employs deductive reasoning worthy of a detective. Deities typically do not weep, sigh heavily, or touch the earth (their feet hover). Observing these mortal signs ('Rodana', 'Nishvasa', 'Bhumi-samsparsha'), he concludes she is human. However, combining this with her noble bearing, he deduces she must be royal ('Rajnah'). This transition from 'Are you a goddess?' to 'You are a queen' grounds the interaction in reality.
हिंदी टीका
यहाँ हनुमान जी अपनी तीक्ष्ण बुद्धि (Sherlockian deduction) का प्रयोग करते हैं। शास्त्रों के अनुसार, देवताओं के पैर जमीन पर नहीं टिकते, उनकी आँखों की पलकें नहीं झपकतीं और उन्हें पसीना या आंसू नहीं आते। चूँकि सीता रो रही हैं, आहें भर रही हैं और जमीन को छू रही हैं ('भूमि संचालनात्'), अतः वे मानवी हैं। यह निष्कर्ष निकालते ही वे उन्हें 'राज्ञः' (राजा से सम्बंधित) मानते हैं। यह श्लोक हनुमान की प्रेक्षण शक्ति (Observation skills) का उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है।
