न पिबेयं न खादेयं प्रत्यहं मम भोजनम् ।
एष मे जीवितस्यान्तो रामो यद्यभिषिच्यते ।

Na pibeyaṃ na khādeyaṃ pratyahaṃ mama bhojanam |
Eṣa me jīvitasyānto rāmo yadyabhiṣicyate ॥5-33-21॥
Translation
I shall neither drink nor eat my daily food. If Rama is consecrated, this will be the end of my life.

यदि राम का अभिषेक होता है, तो मैं न तो पानी पीऊँगी और न ही अपना प्रतिदिन का भोजन करूँगी। यह मेरे जीवन का अंत होगा।
English Commentary
Sita quotes the severe ultimatum issued by Kaikeyi. The vow to abstain from food and water signifies a lethal resolve. Kaikeyi presented a stark choice to Dasharatha: Rama's coronation or her death (jīvitasyānto). This reflects the intensity of the 'Kopabhavan' scene. By recounting these specific intimate details of the royal family's internal conflict, Sita is implicitly proving her identity to Hanuman, as only an insider would know the exact nature of the threat that led to the exile.

सीता जी यहाँ कैकेयी के उन कठोर शब्दों को दोहराती हैं जो उसने 'कोपभवन' में कहे थे। कैकेयी ने अनशन और प्राण त्यागने की धमकी दी थी। यह हठ और भावनात्मक दबाव (emotional blackmail) की पराकाष्ठा थी। 'रामो यद्यभिषिच्यते' (यदि राम का अभिषेक होता है) — यह शर्त कैकेयी की ईर्ष्या और असुरक्षा को स्पष्ट करती है। सीता जी हनुमान को यह सब इसलिए विस्तार से बता रही हैं ताकि यह सिद्ध हो सके कि वे रघुकुल के इतिहास के हर सत्य से परिचित हैं और वही वास्तविक सीता हैं।
