सीतायाश्चिन्तितं बुद्ध्वा हनुमान् मारुतात्मजः ।
श्रोत्रानुकूलैर्वचनैस्तदा तां सम्प्रहर्षयत् ।
।
॥५-३४-२७॥
Sītāyāścintitaṃ buddhvā Hanumān mārutātmajaḥ । Śrotrānukūlairvacanaistadā tāṃ sampraharṣayat । । ॥5-34-27॥
Translation
Understanding Sita's thought process, Hanuman, the son of the wind god, then gladdened her with words that were pleasing to the ears.
हिंदी अनुवाद
सीता के उस विचार (संदेह) को समझकर, वायुपुत्र हनुमान ने कानों को प्रिय लगने वाले वचनों से उन्हें हर्षित करना (पुनः) आरम्भ किया।
English Commentary
Hanuman displays emotional intelligence. He decodes Sita's silence not as rudeness, but as fear (buddhva - having understood). He realizes that proving his identity is secondary; the primary need is to establish a connection through Rama. He chooses words that are shrotra-anukulaih (favorable/pleasant to the ear)—specifically, the praise of Rama. He shifts strategy from "I am a messenger" to "Let me tell you about Rama," knowing this is the only way to bypass her defenses.

हनुमान जी एक कुशल मनोवैज्ञानिक और दूत हैं। वे सीता के मौन का अर्थ और उनके मन का "चिन्तितं" (संदेह) तुरंत समझ गए। उन्हें पता चल गया कि तर्क या अपनी पहचान बताने से काम नहीं चलेगा। सीता का विश्वास जीतने का केवल एक ही मार्ग है—राम का गुणगान। इसलिए उन्होंने "श्रोत्रानुकूलैः" (कानों को सुखद लगने वाले) वचनों का प्रयोग किया। राम की प्रशंसा ही वह कुंजी है जो सीता के हृदय के द्वार खोल सकती है।
