आदित्य इव तेजस्वी लोककान्तः शशी यथा ।
राजा सर्वस्य लोकस्य देवो वैश्रवणो यथा ।
विक्रमेणोपपन्नश्च यथा विष्णुर्महायशाः ।

Āditya iva tejasvī lokakāntaḥ śaśī yathā । Rājā sarvasya lokasya devo vaiśravaṇo yathā । Vikrameṇopapannaśca yathā Viṣṇurmahāyaśāḥ । । ॥5-34-28॥
Translation
(Hanuman spoke:) He is radiant like the Sun, delightful to the world like the Moon. He is the King of the entire world like the Lord Vaishravana (Kubera), and endowed with valor like the highly illustrious Vishnu.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(हनुमान बोले:) वे (राम) सूर्य के समान तेजस्वी हैं, चन्द्रमा के समान लोक-प्रिय (सबको आनंद देने वाले) हैं। वे कुबेर (वैश्रवण) के समान संपूर्ण लोक के राजा (उदार) हैं, और महायशस्वी विष्णु के समान पराक्रम से संपन्न हैं।
English Commentary
Hanuman begins his eulogy (Sankirtana) of Rama using four powerful similes to encompass Rama's multifaceted personality:
Sun (Aditya): Unmatched brilliance and fierce energy against darkness/enemies.
Moon (Shashi): Gentle, cooling, and beloved by all (loka-kantah).
Kubera (Vaishravana): The lord of wealth, signifying sovereignty and generosity.
Vishnu: The ultimate reference to valor (vikrama) and cosmic preservation. This description serves two purposes: it validates Hanuman's knowledge of Rama to Sita, and it reinforces Rama's capability to defeat Ravana.

हनुमान जी राम के गुणों की उपमा देवताओं से देते हैं।
सूर्य: शत्रुओं के लिए उनका तेज असहनीय है।
चन्द्र: भक्तों और प्रजा के लिए वे शीतल और प्रिय हैं।
कुबेर: वे दानी और लोकेश्वर हैं।
विष्णु: उनका पराक्रम विष्णु जैसा है (जो धर्म की रक्षा के लिए अवतार लेते हैं)। हनुमान जी जानबूझकर ऐसी उपमाएं चुनते हैं जो राम के 'ईश्वरीय' और 'अजेय' स्वरूप को उभारें, ताकि सीता को विश्वास हो कि रावण उनका कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ सकता।
