स्थानक्रोधः प्रहर्ता च श्रेष्ठो लोके महारथः ।
॥५-३४-३०॥
Sthanakrodhah praharta ca shreshto loke maharathah ॥5-34-30॥
Translation
He displays anger only when it is appropriate (at the right place and time), is a destroyer of foes, is the best in the world, and is a Maharatha (a mighty warrior capable of fighting thousands alone).
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे उचित स्थान और समय पर ही क्रोध करने वाले हैं, शत्रुओं का संहार करने वाले हैं, संसार में सर्वश्रेष्ठ हैं और एक 'महारथी' योद्धा हैं।
English Commentary
This verse highlights Rama’s emotional mastery and martial prowess. The term 'Sthanakrodhah' implies that Rama possesses emotional intelligence; he is not ruled by blind rage but channels his anger righteously and strategically. By calling him a 'Maharatha' (a supreme warrior), Hanuman assures Sita that Rama has the military capability to defeat her captor. It serves as a guarantee of rescue, suggesting that Rama’s intervention is not just a wish, but a military certainty given his superior status as a warrior.

यहाँ श्रीराम के क्षत्रिय धर्म और संयम की प्रशंसा की गई है। 'स्थानक्रोधः' शब्द अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है; इसका अर्थ है कि राम अकारण क्रोध नहीं करते, वे केवल धर्म की रक्षा या अन्याय के प्रतिकार के लिए ही क्रोधित होते हैं। हनुमान जी सीता जी को विश्वास दिला रहे हैं कि राम का क्रोध अब रावण के विनाश का कारण बनेगा। उन्हें 'महारथी' कहकर हनुमान जी यह स्पष्ट कर रहे हैं कि रावण चाहे कितना भी शक्तिशाली क्यों न हो, युद्ध में राम के कौशल के सामने वह नहीं टिक पाएगा।
