लक्ष्मणश्च महातेजाः सुमित्रानन्दवर्धनः ।
अभिवाद्य महाबाहुः स त्वां कौशलमब्रवीत् ।

Lakshmanashcha mahatejah sumitranandavardhanah |
Abhivadya mahabahuh sa tvam kaushalamabravit ॥5-34-35॥
Translation
And the immensely radiant Lakshmana, the enhancer of Sumitra's joy and the mighty-armed one, has bowed to you and inquired about your welfare.

और महातेजस्वी, सुमित्रा का आनंद बढ़ाने वाले, विशाल भुजाओं वाले लक्ष्मण ने भी आपको प्रणाम करके आपकी कुशलता पूछी है।
English Commentary
Including Lakshmana’s message is crucial for restoring the family bond. Lakshmana is described with high epithets ('Mahatejah', 'Mahabahuh'), reinforcing that Rama is not alone; he has a powerful ally. By mentioning that Lakshmana bows (Abhivadya) to her, Hanuman conveys Lakshmana’s continued reverence and loyalty, which might be a sensitive point given the harsh words exchanged just before the abduction. It reassures Sita that her brother-in-law remains her devoted guardian.
