सा तयोः कुशलं देवी निशम्य नरसिंहयोः ।
प्रीतिसंहृष्टसर्वाङ्गी हनुमन्तमथाब्रवीत् ।

Sā tayoḥ kuśalaṃ devī niśamya narasiṃhayoḥ । Prītisaṃhṛṣṭasarvāṅgī Hanumantamathābravīt । । ॥5-34-5॥
Translation
Hearing the news of the welfare of those two lions among men (Rama and Lakshmana), Devi Sita was thrilled with joy in all her limbs, and she spoke to Hanuman.

उन दो नरश्रेष्ठों (राम और लक्ष्मण) की कुशलता का समाचार सुनकर देवी सीता के सभी अंगों में प्रेम और हर्ष की लहर दौड़ गई, और उन्होंने हनुमान से कहा।
English Commentary
This verse captures the visceral physical reaction of hope. Sita, who moments ago was contemplating suicide, is now "thrilled in every limb" (samhrishta-sarvangi) upon hearing that the "lions among men" are alive. The term Narasimhayoh (lions among men) evokes not just their survival, but their power and dominance, reassuring her that they are capable of rescuing her. It illustrates the psychosomatic connection—how good news about the beloved can instantly transform physical exhaustion into vibrancy.

यह श्लोक 'शोक' से 'हर्ष' के संक्रमण का वर्णन करता है। सीता जी, जो अभी तक मृत्यु का संकल्प ले रही थीं, "नरसिंहयोः" (पुरुषों में सिंह समान राम-लक्ष्मण) की कुशलता सुनकर पुनर्जीवित हो उठती हैं। "प्रीतिसंहृष्टसर्वाङ्गी" शब्द बहुत सुंदर है; इसका अर्थ है कि प्रसन्नता केवल मन तक सीमित नहीं रही, बल्कि उनके शरीर के रोम-रोम में पुलकन (thrill) के रूप में प्रकट हुई। जिस शरीर को वे त्यागना चाहती थीं, अब राम के समाचार से उसमें पुनः प्राणों का संचार हो गया है। यह प्रेम की संजीवनी शक्ति का प्रमाण है।
