Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
तया समागते तस्मिन् प्रीतिरुत्पादिता ऽद्भुता ।
परस्परेण चालापं विश्वस्तौ तौ प्रचक्रतुः ।
।
॥५-३४-७॥
Tayā samāgate tasmin prītirutpāditā 'dbhutā । Paraspareṇa cālāpaṃ viśvastau tau pracakratuḥ । । ॥5-34-7॥
Translation
Wonderful joy was produced in that meeting with him. Trusting each other, they both began to converse continuously.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस (हनुमान) के साथ इस प्रकार मिलन होने पर अद्भुत प्रीति (प्रसन्नता) उत्पन्न हुई। वे दोनों एक-दूसरे पर विश्वास करते हुए परस्पर वार्तालाप करने लगे।
English Commentary
This verse depicts a fleeting moment of mutual trust (vishvastau) and connection. The shared love for Rama creates a temporary "bubble" of joy (adbhuta priti) amidst the hostility of Lanka. For a brief period, the barrier between the species (Vanara and Human) and the situation (Captive and Intruder) dissolves. However, the narrative placement is crucial; it sets up a sharp contrast for the suspicion that is about to return, showing how fragile trust is for someone who has been deeply traumatized.
