रामो भामिनि लोकस्य चातुर्वर्ण्यस्य रक्षिता ।
मर्यादानां च लोकस्य कर्ता कारयिता च सः ।

Ramo bhamini lokasya chaturvarnyasya rakshita |
Maryadanam cha lokasya karta karayita cha sah ॥5-35-11॥
Translation
O Bhamini! Rama is the protector of the four Varnas of the world. He is the creator of social boundaries (moral codes) and the one who ensures others follow them.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे भामिनि (सुंदर स्त्री)! राम संसार के चारों वर्णों के रक्षक हैं। वे लोकमर्यादाओं के रचयिता (बनाने वाले) और उनका पालन करवाने वाले भी हैं।
English Commentary
Hanuman defines Rama’s role as the preserver of social and moral order. He protects the Chaturvarna (the four social classes), ensuring societal stability. Significantly, he is described as the Karta (creator) and Karayita (enforcer) of Maryada (moral boundaries). This depicts Rama not just as a king who follows the law, but as the embodiment of the Law itself. For Sita, this means Rama is bound by duty to punish the law-breaker (Ravana) and uphold the sanctity of marriage and justice.

हनुमान जी राम को 'मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम' के रूप में स्थापित कर रहे हैं। 'चातुर्वर्ण्यस्य रक्षिता' का अर्थ है कि वे सामाजिक व्यवस्था को बनाए रखते हैं। 'मर्यादाओं के कर्ता और कारयिता'—इसका अर्थ है कि राम केवल नियमों का पालन ही नहीं करते, बल्कि वे धर्म के मानक (standard) तय करते हैं और दूसरों से उनका पालन करवाते हैं। 'भामिनि' संबोधन सीता के क्रोध या तेज़ स्वभाव को शांत करने के लिए एक प्रेमपूर्ण विशेषण है।
