अर्चिष्मानर्चितो ऽत्यर्थं ब्रह्मचर्यव्रते स्थितः ।
साधूनामुपकारज्ञः प्रचारज्ञश्च कर्मणाम् ।
।
॥५-३५-१२॥
Arciṣmānarcito 'tyarthaṃ brahmacaryavrate sthitaḥ |
Sādhūnāmupakārajñaḥ pracārajñaśca karmaṇām ॥5-35-12॥
Translation
He is radiant and highly revered by all. He is steadfast in the vows of self-discipline (Brahmacharya). He is grateful for the help rendered by saintly people and is an expert in the propagation and performance of righteous actions.

वे तेजस्वी हैं और संसार में अत्यंत पूजित हैं। वे ब्रह्मचर्य व्रत (इन्द्रिय-संयम) में स्थित हैं। वे सज्जनों के उपकार को मानने वाले हैं और कर्मों के प्रचार (अनुष्ठान और व्यवहार) को भली-भांति जानने वाले हैं।
English Commentary
Hanuman highlights Rama's radiant persona and moral integrity. The term Arcisman suggests a glowing aura of righteousness. Notably, the phrase Brahmacaryavrate sthitaḥ (established in celibacy vows) is significant; despite being married, it emphasizes his strict sensory control and singular devotion to his wife (Ek-patni-vrata), a detail intended to comfort Sita regarding Rama's fidelity during their separation. Hanuman also portrays Rama as a man of action who understands the nuances of duty (Karma) and possesses the humility to acknowledge and appreciate the services of the virtuous (Upakarajnah), contrasting him with the arrogant Ravana.
