निवेदितौ च तत्त्वेन सुग्रीवाय महात्मने ।
तयोरन्योन्यसंलापाद्भृशं प्रीतिरजायत ।

Niveditau ca tattvena sugrīvāya mahātmane |
tayoranyonyasaṃlāpādbhṛśaṃ prītirajāyata ॥5-35-32॥
Translation
I introduced them truthfully to the great-souled Sugriva. From their mutual conversation, a deep affection arose between them.

मैंने महात्मा सुग्रीव को उन दोनों का सच्चा परिचय दिया। फिर उन दोनों (राम और सुग्रीव) के आपसी संवाद से उनमें अत्यंत गहरा प्रेम उत्पन्न हो गया।
English Commentary
Hanuman describes his role in facilitating the bond between the two leaders. He presented the truth of Rama's character to the 'great-souled' Sugriva, removing existing fears. The verse notes that the deep bond (bhṛśaṃ prītih) arose specifically from their mutual conversation (anyonyasaṃlāpāt). This implies a meeting of minds and shared destinies. Hanuman is recounting how he successfully bridged the gap between the wandering princes and the exiled Vanara King, leading to an immediate and strong alliance.

यहाँ हनुमान जी मध्यस्थ (mediator) के रूप में अपनी सफलता बता रहे हैं। उन्होंने सुग्रीव को राम के बारे में 'तत्त्वेन' (यथार्थ रूप से) बताया, जिससे सुग्रीव का भय दूर हुआ। इसके बाद, जब राम और सुग्रीव ने आपस में बात की ('अन्योन्यसंलापाद्'), तो उनके बीच गहरी मित्रता ('भृशं प्रीति') हो गई। यह मित्रता किसी संधि पत्र से नहीं, बल्कि आपसी दुख और समझ से उत्पन्न हुई थी। हनुमान जी ने ही अग्नि साक्षी मानकर यह मित्रता करवाई थी, जिसका संकेत यहाँ दिया गया है।
