आदिष्टा वानरेन्द्रेण सुग्रीवेण महौजसा ।
अद्रिराजप्रतीकाशाः सर्वतः प्रस्थिता महीम् ।

Ādiṣṭā vānarendreṇa sugrīveṇa mahaujasā |
adrirājapratīkāśāḥ sarvataḥ prasthitā mahīm ॥5-35-54॥
Translation
Commanded by the Lord of Monkeys, Sugriva of great energy, monkeys resembling kings of mountains set out across the earth in all directions.
हिंदी अनुवाद
महातेजस्वी वानरराज सुग्रीव के आदेश से, पर्वतों के राजा (हिमालय/सुमेरु) के समान विशालकाय वानर पृथ्वी पर सब ओर प्रस्थान कर गए।
English Commentary
Hanuman describes the caliber of the search party. These were not ordinary monkeys but warriors resembling massive mountains (adrirājapratīkāśāḥ). Driven by the command of the energetic Sugriva, they covered the entire earth (mahīm). This description serves a dual purpose: it glorifies the Vanara army and assures Sita that the force coming to rescue her is formidable and physically capable of challenging the Rakshasas.

वानर सेना की शक्ति का वर्णन यहाँ किया गया है। वे साधारण बंदर नहीं थे, बल्कि 'अद्रिराजप्रतीकाशाः' (पर्वतराज के समान विशाल) थे। सुग्रीव को 'महौजसा' (महान ओज/तेज वाले) कहा गया है, जिसका आदेश कोई टाल नहीं सकता था। 'सर्वतः प्रस्थिता महीम्' का अर्थ है कि उन्होंने पूरी पृथ्वी को छान मारा। यह विवरण सीता को यह भरोसा दिलाने के लिए है कि रावण की लंका चाहे कितनी भी सुरक्षित क्यों न हो, सुग्रीव के वीर उसे खोज ही लेंगे।
