विन्ध्यादुत्थाय संप्राप्ताः सागरस्यान्तमुत्तरम् ।
त्वद्दर्शनकृतोत्साहा हृष्टास्तुष्टाः प्लवङ्गमाः ।

vindhyādutthāya saṃprāptāḥ sāgarasyāntamuttaram |
tvaddarśanakṛtotsāhā hṛṣṭāstuṣṭāḥ plavaṅgamāḥ ॥5-35-68॥
Translation
Rising from the Vindhyas, the monkeys, enthusiastic to see you, happy and satisfied, reached the northern shore of the ocean.
हिंदी अनुवाद
विन्ध्य पर्वत से उठकर (चलकर), आपके दर्शन के उत्साह से भरे हुए, प्रसन्न और संतुष्ट वानर समुद्र के उत्तरी तट पर पहुँच गए।
English Commentary
Hanuman describes the journey from the Vindhya mountains to the ocean's edge. The geography is precise—they reached the 'northern end of the ocean' (sagarasya antam uttaram), facing the south towards Lanka. The emotional state of the troops is highlighted: they were 'hrishta' (happy) and 'tushta' (satisfied) because they finally had a destination. Their primary motivation is described as 'tvad-darshana-krita-utsaha' (filled with enthusiasm to see you). This phrasing is meant to comfort Sita, letting her know that the army coming for her is not just following orders, but is emotionally invested and eager to find her.

इस श्लोक में वानरों की यात्रा और उनकी मानसिक स्थिति का वर्णन है। वे विन्ध्य पर्वत (जहाँ सम्पाति से मिलन हुआ था) से चलकर समुद्र के उत्तरी किनारे पर आए। 'त्वद्दर्शनकृतोत्साहा' (आपके दर्शन के लिए उत्साह से भरे हुए) विशेषण सीता जी के प्रति उनके भक्तिभाव को दर्शाता है। वे केवल कर्तव्य नहीं निभा रहे थे, बल्कि उनके मन में सीता को खोजने का गहरा उत्साह था। 'हृष्टास्तुष्टाः' (हर्षित और संतुष्ट) शब्द बताते हैं कि लक्ष्य स्पष्ट होने पर वे कितने खुश थे। हनुमान जी यह सब इसलिए बता रहे हैं ताकि सीता जान सकें कि पूरी वानर सेना उनके लिए कितनी व्याकुल और प्रयत्नशील है।
