तस्य वीर्यवतो देवि भर्तुस्तव हिते रतः ।
अहमेकस्तु संप्राप्तः सुग्रीववचनादिह ।

tasya vīryavato devi bhartustava hite ratah |
ahamekastu saṃprāptaḥ sugrīvavacanādiha ॥5-35-75॥
Translation
O Noble Lady, devoted to the welfare of your powerful husband, I have arrived here alone by the order of Sugriva.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे देवि! आपके उस पराक्रमी पति के हित में लगा हुआ, मैं सुग्रीव के आदेश से यहाँ अकेला ही आया हूँ।
English Commentary
Hanuman underscores his loyalty and valor. He declares himself "ratah" (devoted/engaged) in the welfare of her husband, framing his actions as service to Rama. The phrase "aham ekas tu" (I, indeed, alone) highlights his extraordinary feat of infiltrating the enemy stronghold solo, setting him apart from ordinary beings. By citing "Sugriva-vachanat" (by the order of Sugriva), he lends official weight to his presence. He is not a rogue element but an emissary acting on orders from a sovereign ally of Rama, reinforcing the political alliance that now supports Sita's rescue.

हनुमान जी यहाँ अपनी निष्ठा और साहस दोनों का प्रदर्शन करते हैं। वे स्वयं को 'भर्तुस्तव हिते रतः' (आपके पति के हित में लीन) बताते हैं, जिससे यह स्पष्ट होता है कि उनका कोई व्यक्तिगत स्वार्थ नहीं है। 'अहमेकस्तु' (मैं अकेला ही) वाक्यांश उनके आत्मविश्वास और शक्ति को रेखांकित करता है—कि वे पूरी सेना के बिना भी लंका में प्रवेश कर सके। 'सुग्रीववचनात्' (सुग्रीव के वचन/आदेश से) कहकर वे यह भी बताते हैं कि यह एक संगठित अभियान का हिस्सा है, न कि कोई भटकता हुआ वानर। यह सीता को यह समझाने का प्रयास है कि राम ने एक शक्तिशाली मित्र (सुग्रीव) प्राप्त कर लिया है जो उनकी सहायता कर रहा है।
