दिष्ट्याऽहं हरिसैन्यानां त्वन्नाशमनुशोचताम् ।
अपनेष्यामि सन्तापं तवाभिगमशंसनात् ।

diṣṭyā 'haṃ harisainyānāṃ tvannāśamanuśocatām |
apaneṣyāmi santāpaṃ tavābhigamaśaṃsanāt ॥5-35-77॥
Translation
Fortunately, I shall remove the torment of the monkey armies, who are grieving over your loss, by announcing my meeting with you.
हिंदी अनुवाद
सौभाग्य से, मैं आपके नाश (अदर्शन) के कारण शोक करने वाली वानर सेनाओं का संताप (दुख) आपके मिलने का समाचार सुनाकर दूर कर सकूँगा।
English Commentary
Hanuman displays his camaraderie and leadership. His immediate thought upon finding Sita is the relief of his comrades waiting anxiously on the other shore. He uses "Dishtya" (by good fortune) to express relief. The Vanara armies were "anushochatam" (grieving) over Sita's loss, fearing failure and death. Hanuman rejoices that he can now "apaneshyami santapam" (remove their torment) by reporting that he has found her. This sentiment humanizes the Vanaras to Sita, showing that an entire army is emotionally invested in her safety, not just militarily engaged.

यहाँ हनुमान जी का 'यूथप' (दल का नेता/साथी) वाला चरित्र उभरता है। सीता को पाकर उन्हें सबसे पहली खुशी यह है कि वे अपने साथियों का दुख दूर कर पाएंगे। 'दिष्ट्या' (सौभाग्य से) शब्द का प्रयोग वे राहत व्यक्त करने के लिए करते हैं। वानर सेना सीता के न मिलने पर प्राण त्यागने को तैयार थी ('त्वन्नाशमनुशोचताम्')। अब हनुमान जी 'तवाभिगमशंसनात्' (आपकी प्राप्ति/दर्शन की प्रशंसा/समाचार) द्वारा उनके प्राण बचाएंगे और उनका कष्ट हरेंगे। यह श्लोक हनुमान जी की निस्वार्थता और अपने साथियों के प्रति प्रेम को दर्शाता है।
