राघवश्च महावीर्यः क्षिप्रं त्वामभिपत्स्यते ।
समित्रबान्धवं हत्वा रावणं राक्षसाधिपम् ।

rāghavaśca mahāvīryaḥ kṣipraṃ tvāmabhipatsyate |
samitrabāndhavaṃ hatvā rāvaṇaṃ rākṣasādhipam ॥5-35-79॥
Translation
The mighty Raghava, having killed the Lord of Rakshasas, Ravana, along with his friends and kin, will soon reclaim you.

महावीर्यवान राघव (राम), मित्रों और बन्धुओं सहित राक्षसाधिप रावण को मारकर, शीघ्र ही आपको प्राप्त करेंगे।
English Commentary
Hanuman makes a solemn prophecy and promise. He assures Sita that her rescue will happen "kshipram" (soon/quickly). He outlines the specific manner of this rescue: it will not be a stealthy escape, but a conquest. Rama will reclaim her ("abhipatsyate") only after killing Ravana. The phrase "samitra-bandhavam hatva" (having killed [him] along with friends and relatives) indicates total annihilation of the enemy. By calling Ravana "Rakshasadhipam" (Lord of Rakshasas) and Rama "Mahavirya" (Greatly Potent), Hanuman sets the stage for the clash of titans, assuring Sita of the inevitable outcome.

यह श्लोक सीता को भविष्य का आश्वासन है। हनुमान जी प्रतिज्ञा करते हैं कि वियोग का यह समय अब अधिक नहीं रहेगा ('क्षिप्रं' - शीघ्र)। वे स्पष्ट करते हैं कि राम केवल सीता को ले नहीं जाएंगे, बल्कि रावण का पूर्ण विनाश करेंगे। 'समित्रबान्धवं हत्वा' (मित्रों और बंधुओं सहित मारकर) वाक्यांश यह दर्शाता है कि यह युद्ध धर्म का होगा और पाप का समूल नाश किया जाएगा। राम को 'महावीर्यः' कहकर हनुमान पुनः सीता को राम की शक्ति का स्मरण कराते हैं।
