Diṣṭyā ca kuśalī rāmo dharmātmā satyasaṅgaraḥ ।
Lakṣmaṇaśca mahātejāḥ sumitrānandavardhanaḥ ।

Diṣṭyā ca kuśalī rāmo dharmātmā satyasaṅgaraḥ । Lakṣmaṇaśca mahātejāḥ sumitrānandavardhanaḥ । ॥5-36-12॥
Translation
Luckily, the righteous Rama, true to his promise, is well, and so is the great-splendored Lakshmana, the increaser of Sumitra's joy.
हिंदी अनुवाद
सौभाग्य से (दिष्ट्या) धर्मात्मा और सत्यप्रतिज्ञ राम कुशल हैं। सुमित्रा का आनंद बढ़ाने वाले महातेजस्वी लक्ष्मण भी कुशल हैं।
English Commentary
Having established trust, Sita expresses relief (diṣṭyā) regarding the welfare of Rama and Lakshmana. She uses significant epithets: Rama is satyasaṅgaraḥ (true to his word), subtly reminding herself and Hanuman of Rama's vow to protect/rescue her. Lakshmana is remembered fondly as sumitrānandavardhanaḥ (he who increases Sumitra's joy), acknowledging the sacrifice of his mother Sumitra and Lakshmana's devotion. This verse marks the shift from defensive questioning to emotional enquiry.

अब जब विश्वास स्थापित हो गया है, सीता जी अपनी मूल चिंता पर आती हैं—राम और लक्ष्मण की कुशलता। 'दिष्ट्या' का अर्थ है 'भाग्य से'। वे राम को 'सत्यसङ्गरः' (सत्य प्रतिज्ञा वाले) कहती हैं, जो याद दिलाता है कि राम ने उन्हें वापस ले जाने का वचन दिया था। लक्ष्मण के लिए 'सुमित्रानन्दवर्धनः' विशेषण का प्रयोग करके वे लक्ष्मण के प्रति अपना वात्सल्य प्रकट करती हैं, यह जानते हुए कि लक्ष्मण अपनी माता को छोड़कर उनकी सेवा में वन आए हैं।
