Kaccinna vyathito rāmaḥ kaccinna paritapyate ।
Uttarāṇi ca kāryāṇi kurute puruṣoṭtamaḥ ।

Kaccinna vyathito rāmaḥ kaccinna paritapyate । Uttarāṇi ca kāryāṇi kurute puruṣoṭtamaḥ । ॥5-36-15॥
Translation
I hope Rama is not distressed, nor grieving too much. I hope the best of men performs the subsequent duties (preparations for rescue).
हिंदी अनुवाद
क्या राम बहुत व्यथित (दुखी) तो नहीं हैं? क्या वे बहुत संताप तो नहीं करते? क्या वह पुरुषोत्तम आगे के आवश्यक कार्य (युद्ध की तैयारी आदि) कर रहे हैं?
English Commentary
Sita displays her concern for Rama's mental state versus his duty. She hopes his grief (vyathita) and torment (paritapyate) are not paralyzing him. Crucially, she asks if he is attending to uttarāṇi kāryāṇi—the subsequent duties required for the mission (gathering allies, planning strategy). Even in her captivity, she expects Rama to act as Puruṣottama (the supreme man), balancing emotion with action.

सीता जी की चिंता यह है कि कहीं राम उनके वियोग में इतने डूब न जाएं कि अपना कर्तव्य भूल बैठें। 'कच्चित्' का प्रयोग आशा और प्रश्न दोनों को दर्शाता है। वे पूछती हैं कि क्या राम 'उत्तराणि कार्याणि' (अगले कदम/भविष्य के कार्य) कर रहे हैं? एक क्षत्राणी के रूप में, वह चाहती हैं कि राम शोक त्यागकर कर्म करें। वे राम को 'पुरुषोत्तम' कहती हैं, जिसका अर्थ है पुरुषों में श्रेष्ठ, जिसे विपत्ति में धैर्य नहीं खोना चाहिए।
