वानराधिपतिः श्रीमान् सुग्रीवः कच्चिदेष्यति ।
मत्कृते हरिभिर्वीरैर्वृतो दन्तनखायुधैः ।

Vānarādhipatiḥ śrīmān sugrīvaḥ kaccideṣyati । Matkṛte haribhirvīrairvṛto dantanakha yudhaiḥ । । ॥5-36-25॥
Translation
Will the glorious Lord of Vanaras, Sugriva, come for my sake, surrounded by heroic monkeys armed with teeth and claws?

क्या वानरों के स्वामी, श्रीमान सुग्रीव, दाँतों और नाखूनों को ही हथियार बनाने वाले वीर वानरों से घिरे हुए, मेरे लिए आएंगे?
English Commentary
Having inquired about human armies, Sita now asks about the Vanara allies. She refers to Sugriva as Śrīmān (glorious/prosperous), acknowledging his regained status. She explicitly describes the nature of his army: dantanakha yudhaiḥ (those whose weapons are teeth and claws). This vivid imagery highlights the primal, ferocious nature of the force she expects to see. It shows she understands the alliance Rama has forged and is assessing the capability of these non-human allies to face the Rakshasas.

यदि भरत की सेना न आ सके, तो सीता जी सुग्रीव की वानर सेना के बारे में पूछती हैं। हनुमान जी के आगमन से उन्हें सुग्रीव से मैत्री का पता चल चुका है। 'दन्तनखायुधैः' (दाँत और नाखून ही जिनके आयुध हैं) शब्द का प्रयोग करके सीता जी वानर सेना की प्राकृतिक और भयंकर युद्ध शैली का चित्रण करती हैं। वे जानना चाहती हैं कि क्या सुग्रीव स्वयं ('वानराधिपतिः') इस युद्ध का नेतृत्व करने आएंगे। यह उनकी 'प्लान बी' (वैकल्पिक योजना) के प्रति जिज्ञासा है।
