रौद्रेण कच्चिदस्त्रेण ज्वलता निहतं रणे ।
द्रक्ष्याम्यल्पेन कालेन रावणं ससुहृज्जनम् ।

Raudreṇa kaccidastreṇa jvalatā nihataṃ raṇe । Drakṣyāmyalpena kālena rāvaṇaṃ sasuhṛjjanam । ॥5-36-27॥
Translation
Will I see, in a short time, Ravana killed in battle along with his kinsmen by a blazing, terrible weapon?

क्या मैं थोड़े ही समय में (अल्पेन कालेन) रणभूमि में अपने मित्रों सहित (ससुहृज्जनम्) रावण को जलते हुए भयानक (रौद्र) अस्त्र से मारा गया देखूँगी?
English Commentary
Here, Sita articulates her vision of ultimate justice. She implies that mere rescue is insufficient; the perpetrator must be punished. She specifically wishes to witness (drakṣyāmi) Ravana's death along with his inner circle (sasuhṛjjanam). The mention of a raudreṇa astreṇa (terrible/fierce weapon) that is jvalatā (blazing) indicates she expects a definitive, high-intensity conclusion to the war. The phrase alpena kālena (in a short time) underscores her desperation and the limit of her endurance.

यह श्लोक सीता जी के क्रोध और न्याय की प्यास को दर्शाता है। वे केवल मुक्ति नहीं, बल्कि रावण का पूर्ण विनाश चाहती हैं। 'ससुहृज्जनम्' (मित्रों/परिवार सहित) का वध—यह राजनीति है कि शत्रु का मूल भी नष्ट करना चाहिए। 'रौद्रेण अस्त्रेण' से तात्पर्य ब्रह्मास्त्र या आग्नेयास्त्र जैसे विनाशकारी हथियार से है। 'अल्पेन कालेन' उनकी अधीरता को दिखाता है; वे अब और प्रतीक्षा नहीं कर सकतीं। यह सीता का उग्र रूप है।
