ततः सा ह्रीमती बाला भर्तृसन्देशहर्षिता ।
परितुष्टा प्रियं कृत्वा प्रशशंस महाकपिम् ।
।
॥५-३६-६॥
Tataḥ sā hrīmatī bālā bhartṛsandeśaharṣitā । Parituṣṭā priyaṃ kṛtvā praśaśaṃsa mahākapim । । ॥5-36-6॥
Translation
Then, that bashful young woman, delighted by her husband's message, felt fully satisfied; and having treated him kindly (with pleasant words/reception), she praised the great monkey.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तदनन्तर, पति का संदेश पाकर हर्षित हुई वह लज्जाशील बाला (युवती) पूर्णतः संतुष्ट हो गई और उस महाकपि (हनुमान) का सत्कार करके (प्रिय वचनों से) उनकी प्रशंसा करने लगी।
English Commentary
Sita is described here as 'hrīmatī' (modest/bashful) and 'bālā' (youthful/innocent), emphasizing her gentle nature despite her harsh trials. Her joy stems specifically from the 'bhartṛ-sandeśa' (husband's message). Being 'parituṣṭā' (fully satisfied/content), she engages in 'priyaṃ kṛtvā'—literally 'doing what is pleasant,' which in this context means treating Hanuman with the warmth and honor due to a savior and a kinsman. She praises the 'Mahakapim' (Great Monkey), acknowledging his heroism and the critical role he has played in bridging the abyss between her and Rama.

यहाँ सीता जी के लिए 'बाला' (युवती/भोली) और 'ह्रीमती' (लज्जाशील/विनम्र) शब्दों का प्रयोग हुआ है, जो भारतीय नारी के आदर्श गुणों को दर्शाते हैं। राम का संदेश पाकर ('भर्तृ-सन्देश-हर्षिता') उनकी संतुष्टि ('परितुष्टा') पूर्ण हुई। यद्यपि वे वन में कैद हैं और उनके पास सत्कार के लिए कोई वस्तु नहीं है, फिर भी 'प्रियं कृत्वा' का अर्थ है कि उन्होंने हनुमान जी को अपनेपन और स्नेहपूर्ण व्यवहार से सम्मानित किया। उन्होंने हनुमान जी की प्रशंसा की क्योंकि उन्हीं के कारण आज उन्हें जीवनदान मिला है।
