वikrāntastvaṃ samarthastvaṃ prājñastvaṃ vānarottama ।
Yenedaṃ rākṣasapadaṃ tvayaikena pradharṣitam ।

Vikrāntastvaṃ samarthastvaṃ prājñastvaṃ vānarottama । Yenedaṃ rākṣasapadaṃ tvayaikena pradharṣitam । । ॥5-36-7॥
Translation
O best of Vanaras, you are indeed valorous, capable, and wise, for you alone have assailed this abode of the Rakshasas.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे वानरोत्तम! तुम अत्यंत पराक्रमी, सामर्थ्यवान और बुद्धिमान हो, जिसने अकेले ही इस राक्षस-स्थान (लंका) पर आक्रमण किया है (इसे घर्षित किया है)।
English Commentary
Sita begins to validate Hanuman's credentials through logic. She reasons that penetrating the fortified city of Lanka, the "abode of Rakshasas" (rākṣasapadaṃ), is impossible for an ordinary being. By acknowledging him as Vikrānta (valorous), Samartha (capable), and Prājña (wise), she affirms that physical strength alone was not enough; it required strategic wisdom to reach her. This marks the transition from her suspicion—fearing he was Ravana in disguise—to recognizing him as a formidable warrior capable of acting on Rama's behalf.

सीता जी यहाँ हनुमान जी की क्षमताओं को स्वीकार कर रही हैं। 'राक्षसपदं' का अर्थ लंका है जो राक्षसों का गढ़ है। सीता जी तर्क करती हैं कि एक साधारण वानर के लिए अकेले लंका में प्रवेश करना और रावण के पहरे को भेदना असंभव है। चूँकि हनुमान जी ने ऐसा किया है, वे अवश्य ही 'विक्रान्त' (पराक्रमी), 'समर्थ' (शक्तिशाली) और 'प्राज्ञ' (बुद्धिमान) हैं। यह श्लोक सीता जी के मन में हनुमान जी के प्रति विश्वास की स्थापना का प्रतीक है। वे अब उन्हें एक साधारण दूत नहीं, बल्कि एक विशिष्ट योद्धा मान रही हैं।
