Nahi tvāṃ prākṛtaṃ manye vānaraṃ vānararṣabha ।
Yasya te nāsti santrāso rāvaṇānnāpi sambhramaḥ ।

Nahi tvāṃ prākṛtaṃ manye vānaraṃ vānararṣabha । Yasya te nāsti santrāso rāvaṇānnāpi sambhramaḥ । ॥5-36-9॥
Translation
O bull among monkeys, I do not consider you an ordinary Vanara. You have no fear of Ravana, nor any confusion or perplexity.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे वानरर्षभ (वानरों में श्रेष्ठ)! मैं तुम्हें कोई साधारण (प्राकृत) वानर नहीं मानती। तुम्हें न तो रावण से भय (संत्रास) है और न ही कोई घबराहट (सम्भ्रम)।
English Commentary
Sita observes Hanuman's demeanor to confirm his authenticity. She notes the absence of santrāsa (terror) and sambhrama (confusion or flurry). An ordinary monkey (prākṛtaṃ vānaraṃ) would be petrified in Ravana's territory. The fact that Hanuman stands before her with composure and courage proves his extraordinary nature. This psychological assessment is crucial for Sita to open her heart to him; she recognizes the spiritual fortitude that allows him to remain fearless in the face of evil.

सीता जी हनुमान जी के मनोवैज्ञानिक धरातल का विश्लेषण कर रही हैं। रावण की लंका में आकर, रावण के ही अशोक वन में खड़े होकर, रावण से भयभीत न होना ('न अस्ति संत्रासः') किसी सामान्य जीव का लक्षण नहीं है। 'सम्भ्रम' का अर्थ है घबराहट या हड़बड़ी; हनुमान जी शांत और स्थिर हैं। यह स्थिरता सिद्ध करती है कि वे एक उच्च कोटि के दूत और योद्धा हैं। सीता जी अब पूर्णतः आश्वस्त हो रही हैं कि यह रावण की माया नहीं है, क्योंकि माया में स्थिरता का अभाव होता है।
