त्वद्दर्शनकृतोत्साहमाश्रमस्थं महाबलम् ।
पुरन्दरमिवासीनं नाकराजस्य मूर्धनि ।
।
॥५-३७-२२॥
Tvaddarśanakṛtotsāhamāśramasthaṃ mahābalam । Purandaramivāsīnaṃ nākarājasya mūrdhani । । ॥5-37-22॥
Translation
You will see the mighty one, who is eager to see you, staying in the hermitage, like Purandara (Indra) seated on the peak of the king of mountains (Meru).
हिंदी अनुवाद
जो आपके दर्शन के लिए अत्यंत उत्साहित हैं, महाबली हैं और अभी आश्रम (प्रस्रवण पर्वत) में स्थित हैं, (उन्हें आप देखेंगी) जैसे नागराज (पर्वत/स्वर्ग) के शिखर पर बैठे हुए इंद्र।
English Commentary
Hanuman describes Rama's mental state as tvaddarśanakṛtotsāham—filled with enthusiasm and eagerness specifically to see Sita. Despite living in a forest hermitage (ashramastha), Rama is compared to Purandara (Indra) seated on a mountain peak. This juxtaposition serves to remind Sita that Rama retains his regal majesty and power (mahabalam) even in exile, and his primary motivation now is their reunion.

हनुमान जी राम की मानसिक स्थिति का वर्णन 'त्वद्दर्शनकृतोत्साहम्' कहकर करते हैं, जिसका अर्थ है कि वे सीता से मिलने के लिए उमंग और उत्साह से भरे हैं। यहाँ राम की तुलना देवराज इंद्र ('पुरन्दर') से की गई है, जो उनके राजसी और प्रभावशाली स्वरूप को दर्शाता है। भले ही वे वन के आश्रम में हैं, किन्तु उनका तेज इंद्र के समान है।
