कथयन्तीव चन्द्रेण सूर्येण च महार्चिषा ।
मत्पृष्टमधिरुह्य त्वं तराकाशमहार्णवौ ।

Kathayantīva candreṇa sūryeṇa ca mahārciṣā । Matpṛṣṭamadhiruhya tvaṃ tarākāśamahārṇavau । । ॥5-37-24॥
Translation
Climbing onto my back, cross the sky and the great ocean, as if conversing with the Moon and the Sun of great brilliance.
हिंदी अनुवाद
मेरी पीठ पर चढ़कर, आप विशाल सागर और आकाश को पार करें, (उस ऊँचाई पर) मानो आप चन्द्रमा और महान किरणों वाले सूर्य से बातें कर रही हों।
English Commentary
This verse vividly describes the altitude and grandeur of Hanuman's proposed flight path. He suggests that while crossing the ocean, they will fly so high in the sky that Sita will feel as if she is conversing (kathayantīva) directly with the celestial bodies—the Sun and the Moon. It highlights Hanuman's domain over the sky and assures Sita that the journey will be swift and far above the reach of enemies.

यह श्लोक हनुमान की उड़ान की ऊँचाई और गति का चित्रात्मक वर्णन है। वे आकाश मार्ग से इतनी ऊँचाई पर उड़ेंगे कि ऐसा प्रतीत होगा मानो सीता सूर्य और चन्द्रमा के समीप पहुँच गयी हों और उनसे संवाद कर रही हों। 'कथयन्तीव' (मानो बात करती हुई) शब्द यात्रा की भव्यता और हनुमान के वायु-पुत्र होने के प्रमाण को दर्शाता है।
