कथं वा ऽल्पशरीरस्त्वं मामितो नेतुमिच्छसि ।
सकाशं मानवेन्द्रस्य भर्तुर्मे प्लवगर्षभ ।

Kathaṃ vā 'lpaśarīrastvaṃ māmito netumicchasi । Sakāśaṃ mānavendrasya bharturme plavagarṣabha । । ॥5-37-29॥
Translation
O bull among monkeys, being of such a small body, how do you wish to take me from here to the presence of my husband, the lord of men?
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे वानरर्षभ! तुम 'अल्प शरीर' (छोटे शरीर) वाले होकर मुझे यहाँ से मेरे पति मानवेन्द्र राम के पास कैसे ले जाने की इच्छा करते हो?
English Commentary
Sita clarifies the root of her doubt: Hanuman's alpaśarīra (small body). While she respects him, addressing him as plavagarṣabha (bull among monkeys), she cannot reconcile his current size with the massive task of transoceanic flight carrying a passenger. This verse underscores the effectiveness of Hanuman's disguise; he looks so harmless and small that even the person he intends to rescue doubts his physical strength.

यहाँ सीता स्पष्ट करती हैं कि उनका संदेह हनुमान के 'अल्पशरीर' (छोटे आकार) के कारण है। वे हनुमान को 'प्लवगर्षभ' (वानरों में श्रेष्ठ) कहती हैं, जो आदरसूचक है, लेकिन साथ ही उनकी शारीरिक क्षमता पर प्रश्न भी उठाती हैं। यह संवाद दर्शाता है कि सीता अभी भी हनुमान की अणिमा आदि सिद्धियों (रूप बदलने की शक्ति) से अनजान हैं।
