अथवा युद्ध्यमानस्य पतेयं विमुखस्य ते ।
पतितां च गृहीत्वा मां नयेयुः पापराक्षसाः ।
।

Athavā yuddhyamānasya pateyaṃ vimukhasya te । Patitāṃ ca gṛhītvā māṃ nayeyuḥ pāparākṣasāḥ । । ॥5-37-51॥
Translation
"Or, while you are fighting with your attention turned elsewhere, I might fall, and the sinful Rakshasas might seize me after I have fallen."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"अथवा, जब तुम (शत्रुओं से) जूझ रहे होगे और तुम्हारा ध्यान दूसरी ओर (विमुख) होगा, तब मैं गिर सकती हूँ और उन पापी राक्षसों द्वारा पकड़ ली जा सकती हूँ।"
English Commentary
Sita outlines a specific tactical failure mode. In the heat of battle, Hanuman might be 'vimukha' (facing away/distracted) while engaging an enemy. If she falls at that moment, the Rakshasas, who are aerial predators, could catch her mid-air. This would result in her recapture, rendering the entire rescue mission futile and potentially leaving her in a more heavily guarded confinement.

यह श्लोक एक और संभावित परिदृश्य प्रस्तुत करता है। युद्ध में हनुमान जी को चारों दिशाओं में देखना होगा। यदि वे किसी राक्षस से लड़ने के लिए मुड़े ('विमुख'), और उसी क्षण सीता गिर गईं, तो राक्षस उन्हें लपक लेंगे। 'नयेयुः' (ले जाएंगे) का अर्थ है कि वे सीता को पुनः कैद कर लेंगे। इस प्रकार, सारा प्रयास व्यर्थ हो जाएगा और स्थिति पहले से भी बदतर हो जाएगी।
