सलक्ष्मणं राघवमाजिमर्दनं दिशागजं मत्तमिव व्यवस्थितम् ।
सहेत को वानरमुख्य संयुगे युगान्तसूर्यप्रतिमं शरार्चिषम् ।

Salakṣmaṇaṃ rāghavamājimardanaṃ diśāgajaṃ mattamiva vyavasthitam । Saheta ko vānaramukhya saṃyuge yugāntasūryapratimaṃ śarārciṣam । । ॥5-37-64॥
Translation
"O chief of monkeys, who can endure Raghava accompanied by Lakshmana in battle—he who destroys enemies, stands firm like an intoxicated guardian elephant, and whose arrow-rays resemble the sun at the end of the cosmic age?"
हिंदी अनुवाद
"हे वानरमुख्य! युद्ध में शत्रुओं का मर्दन करने वाले, मतवाले दिग्गज के समान स्थित और प्रलयकाल के सूर्य के समान बाणों की किरणें (ज्वाला) बिखेरने वाले लक्ष्मण सहित राम को युद्ध में कौन सह सकता है?"
English Commentary
The imagery becomes apocalyptic. Rama is compared to a 'Dishagaja' (mythical elephant supporting the quarters) representing immovable strength, and the 'Yuganta-surya' (the sun at the end of the world) representing total annihilation through his heat (arrows). Sita assures Hanuman that Rama is the 'Ajimardana' (crusher of battles). This vivid description serves to finalize her argument: Rama is fully capable of rescuing her; he just needs to be informed.

सीता जी राम के रौद्र रूप का वर्णन करती हैं। 'दिशागज' (दिग्गज) की उपमा राम की स्थिरता और अदम्य शक्ति को दर्शाती है। 'युगान्तसूर्य' (प्रलयंकारी सूर्य) की उपमा उनके बाणों की संहारक क्षमता को बताती है। सीता जी हनुमान को यह विश्वास दिला रही हैं कि राम केवल एक तपस्वी नहीं, बल्कि साक्षात् काल हैं। रावण का वध उनके लिए एक खेल मात्र होगा।
