Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
बाष्पपूर्णमुखी मन्दं चक्षुषी परिमार्जती ।
लक्षिता ऽहं त्वया नाथ वायसेन प्रकोपिता ।
।
॥५-३८-२०॥
bāṣpapūrṇamukhī mandaṃ cakṣuṣī parimārjatī । lakṣitā 'haṃ tvayā nātha vāyasena prakopitā । ॥5-38-20॥
Translation
"O Lord! With a face full of tears, slowly wiping my eyes, I was observed by you to be greatly agitated by the crow."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"हे नाथ! उस समय मेरा चेहरा आंसुओं से भरा था और मैं धीरे-धीरे अपनी आंखें पोंछ रही थी। तब आपने देखा (लक्ष्य किया) कि मैं उस कौवे के कारण बहुत क्रोधित और परेशान हूँ।"
English Commentary
The tone shifts here. Sita was weeping ('bashpapurnamukhi'). Rama now observed serious distress ('lakshita'), realizing this was no longer a game; Sita was genuinely 'prakopita' (agitated/angered) by the crow. The address 'Natha' (Lord/Protector) is significant, reminding Rama of his role. Sita describes her own fragility and Rama's sensitivity. She is reminding him that historically, he could not bear to see tears in her eyes, contrasting it with her current state of constant weeping.

अब स्थिति बदल रही है। सीता जी रो रही थीं ('बाष्पपूर्णमुखी')। राम ने अब गंभीरता से देखा ('लक्षिता') कि यह केवल खेल नहीं है, बल्कि सीता वास्तव में उस कौवे से 'प्रकोपिता' (अत्यंत क्षुब्ध) हैं। 'नाथ' संबोधन यहाँ महत्वपूर्ण है, जो राम को उनके स्वामी और रक्षक के रूप में याद दिलाता है। सीता जी अपनी नाजुकता और राम की संवेदनशीलता का वर्णन कर रही हैं। वे याद दिला रही हैं कि राम उनकी आंखों में आंसू नहीं देख सकते थे।
