अप्यर्कमपि पर्जन्यमपि वैवस्वतं यमम् ।
सहि सोढुं रणे शक्तस्तव हेतोर्विशेषतः ।

apyarkamapi parjanyamapi vaivasvataṃ yamam |
sahi soḍhuṃ raṇe śaktastava hetorviśeṣataḥ ॥5-39-16॥
Translation
Specifically for your sake, he is capable of withstanding (and defeating) even the Sun, Rain-god (Indra), or Yama (Death) in battle.

तुम्हारे लिए (तुम्हारे निमित्त) वे (राम) युद्ध में सूर्य, इंद्र (पर्जन्य) और वैवस्वत यम को भी पराजित करने (सहने) में समर्थ हैं।
English Commentary
Hanuman emphasizes the extent of Rama's determination. While Rama is capable of defeating anyone, the phrase "tava hetorvisheshatah" (specifically for your sake) adds a profound emotional dimension. It implies that Sita is the catalyst that unlocks Rama's limitless potential. He is willing to go against the cosmic forces—Sun, Indra, and Death itself—to rescue her. This hyperbole reassures Sita that no obstacle, divine or demonic, will stop her husband.

यहाँ हनुमान राम की प्रेरणा के स्रोत को उजागर कर रहे हैं—'तव हेतोर्विशेषतः' (विशेष रूप से तुम्हारे हेतु)। सामान्यतः राम देवताओं से युद्ध नहीं करेंगे, लेकिन यदि सीता के उद्धार के लिए आवश्यक हुआ, तो वे प्रकृति की सर्वोच्च शक्तियों—सूर्य (तेज), पर्जन्य/इंद्र (वर्षा/राजा) और यम (मृत्यु)—को भी चुनौती दे सकते हैं। यह दर्शाता है कि राम का प्रेम और कर्तव्य (धर्म) किसी भी दैवीय बाधा से ऊपर है।
