स हि सागरपर्यन्तां महीं शासितुमीहते ।
त्वन्निमित्तो हि रामस्य जयो जनकनन्दिनि ।

sa hi sāgaraparyantāṃ mahīṃ śāsitumīhate |
tvannimitto hi rāmasya jayo janakanandini ॥5-39-17॥
Translation
O daughter of Janaka! He indeed deserves to rule the earth bounded by the ocean. Rama's victory is indeed for your sake (or caused by you).
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे जनकनन्दिनी! वे (राम) समुद्र पर्यंत पूरी पृथ्वी पर शासन करने के योग्य हैं। राम की विजय निश्चित रूप से तुम्हारे ही निमित्त (तुम्हारे लिए) है।
English Commentary
Hanuman addresses Sita as "Janakanandini," reminding her of her royal heritage. He asserts Rama's destiny as the sovereign of the entire earth ("sagaraparyantam"). The crucial phrase "tvannimitto" places Sita at the center of the upcoming epic events. It suggests that the war, the victory, and the subsequent glory are all "caused by her" or "for her." It validates her existence, which she felt was a burden, turning it into the prime mover of Rama's triumph.

हनुमान सीता को 'जनकनन्दिनी' कहकर उनके उच्च कुल का स्मरण कराते हैं। वे कहते हैं कि राम का वनवास अस्थायी है; उनका वास्तविक स्थान 'सागरपर्यन्तां महीं' (समुद्र तक फैली पृथ्वी) का शासक होना है। 'त्वन्निमित्तो' का गहरा अर्थ है: यह युद्ध और विजय केवल रावण को मारने के लिए नहीं, बल्कि सीता को पुनः प्राप्त करने के लिए है। सीता ही उस विजय का मूल कारण और लक्ष्य हैं।
