Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
काममस्य त्वमेवैकः कार्यस्य परिसाधने ।
पर्याप्तः परवीरघ्न यशस्यस्ते फलोदयः ।

kāmamasya tvamevaikaḥ kāryasya parisādhane |
paryāptaḥ paravīraghna yaśasyaste phalodayaḥ ॥5-39-28॥
Translation
Admittedly, O slayer of enemy heroes, you alone are sufficient to accomplish this task (of rescuing me). The resulting success would indeed bring glory to you.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे शत्रुवीरघाती! यद्यपि तुम अकेले ही इस कार्य (मेरे उद्धार) को सिद्ध करने में पर्याप्त हो, और इससे मिलने वाला फल (यश) तुम्हारे लिए ही कीर्तिदायाक होगा।
English Commentary
Sita validates Hanuman's earlier offer to carry her back on his back. She admits he is "paryaptah" (sufficient/capable) to do this single-handedly. She acknowledges that such a feat would result in immense "yashas" (fame) specifically for him. However, the tone suggests a "but" is coming. She is preparing to explain why a stealthy rescue by a messenger, while possible, falls short of the moral and royal code required for her husband, the King.

सीता जी स्वीकार करती हैं कि हनुमान में उन्हें अकेले ही पीठ पर बैठाकर ले जाने की क्षमता है, जैसा कि हनुमान ने पहले प्रस्ताव दिया था। 'कामम' (निस्संदेह/यद्यपि) शब्द से वे हनुमान की क्षमता का आदर करती हैं। वे मानती हैं कि यदि हनुमान ऐसा करते हैं, तो सारा यश ('यशस्यस्ते') हनुमान को मिलेगा। परन्तु, अगले श्लोकों में वे स्पष्ट करेंगी कि वे ऐसा क्यों नहीं चाहतीं। यह हनुमान के अहंकार को नहीं, बल्कि उनके कौशल को सम्मान देने का तरीका है।
