बलैः समग्रैर्यदि मां रावणं जित्यसंयुगे ।
विजयी स्वपुरीं यायात् तत्तु मे स्याद्यशस्करम् ।

balaiḥ samagrairyadi māṃ rāvaṇaṃ jityasaṃyuge |
vijayī svapurīṃ yāyāt tattu me syādyaśaskaram ॥5-39-29॥
Translation
But if (Rama), victorious after defeating Ravana in battle with his entire forces, takes me to his own city, that would be glorious for me.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(किन्तु) यदि राम अपनी संपूर्ण सेना के साथ युद्ध में रावण को जीतकर, विजयी होकर मुझे अपनी पुरी (अयोध्या) ले जाएं, तो वह मेरे लिए यश देने वाला होगा।
English Commentary
Here, Sita delineates the difference between mere survival and honorable redemption. For a Queen, being smuggled out is insufficient. She desires that Rama arrives with "samagrair balaih" (entire forces) and defeats Ravana "samyuge" (in open battle). Only a public victory that punishes the abductor restores the honor of the victim. She states that this method alone is "yashaskaram" (glory-giving) for her, emphasizing that her honor is tied to Rama's martial display.

यह श्लोक क्षत्राणी सीता के स्वाभिमान को परिभाषित करता है। चोरी से भागना या चुपके से मुक्त होना रघुकुल की मर्यादा के अनुकूल नहीं है। 'जित्वा संयुगे' (युद्ध में जीतकर) अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है; रावण ने अधर्म किया है, इसलिए उसे दंड मिलना आवश्यक है। 'समग्रैः बलैः' (पूरी सेना के साथ) आक्रमण करना राम की शक्ति का प्रदर्शन होगा। सीता चाहती हैं कि उनका उद्धार राम के पौरुष और विजय का प्रतीक बने।
