तदर्थोपहितं वाक्यं सहितं हेतुसंहितम् ।
निशम्य हनुमान् शेषं वाक्यमुत्तरमब्रवीत् ।

tadarthopahitaṃ vākyaṃ sahitaṃ hetusaṃhitam |
niśamya hanumān śeṣaṃ vākyamuttaramabravīt ॥5-39-32॥
Translation
Hearing that speech, which was meaningful, beneficial, and consistent with logic, Hanuman spoke the remaining reply.

सीता के उस अर्थपूर्ण, उचित और तर्कसंगत (हेतु सहित) वचन को सुनकर, हनुमान ने अपना शेष उत्तर (जो वानर सेना की क्षमता के विषय में था) दिया।
English Commentary
The narrator validates Sita's stance. Her speech is described as "hetusamhitam" (logical/reasoned) and "arthopahitam" (meaningful/purposeful). Hanuman listens ("nishamya") with respect, realizing that Sita's objection to a stealth rescue is based on sound dharmic and strategic principles. He now proceeds to answer the specific logistical doubt she raised in verses 24-26 about the army's ability to cross the ocean.

वाल्मीकि जी यहाँ सीता के तर्कों की प्रशंसा करते हैं। उनके वचन 'अर्थोपहितं' (प्रयोजन सिद्ध करने वाले) और 'हेतुसंहितम्' (तर्क पर आधारित) थे। हनुमान ने समझ लिया कि सीता भावावेश में नहीं, बल्कि नीति के अनुसार बात कर रही हैं। इसलिए, अब हनुमान उनकी मुख्य शंका (सागर पार करना) का निवारण करने के लिए उत्तर देते हैं।
