तदलं परितापेन देवि शोको व्यपैतु ते ।
एकोत्पातेन ते लङ्कामेष्यन्ति हरियूथपाः ।

Tadalaṃ paritāpena devi śoko vyapaitu te । Ekotpātena te laṅkāmeṣyanti hariyūthapāḥ । । ॥5-39-40॥
Translation
Therefore, O Devi, enough of this lamentation; let your sorrow depart. Those monkey leaders will reach Lanka in a single leap.
हिंदी अनुवाद
अतः हे देवि! आप संताप न करें, आपका शोक दूर हो। वे वानर-यूथपति एक ही छलांग में लंका पहुँच जाएंगे।
English Commentary
Hanuman urges Sita to abandon her grief immediately. By using the phrase "ekotpātena" (in a single leap/uprising), he vividly describes the prowess of the Vanara commanders. He assures her that the vast ocean, which seems like an insurmountable barrier to her, is mere child's play for the monkey chiefs. He acts as a consoling guardian, ensuring her that relief is not just possible but imminent, and the arrival of the army will be swift and decisive.

हनुमान जी माता सीता के दुख को तत्काल दूर करने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं। 'एकोत्पातेन' (एक ही उड़ान/छलांग में) शब्द का प्रयोग कर वे वानर सेना की गति और शक्ति का वर्णन करते हैं। वे यह समझाना चाहते हैं कि समुद्र, जो सीता जी को एक बड़ी बाधा लग रहा है, वानर वीरों के लिए एक साधारण खाई के समान है। यहाँ हनुमान जी एक रक्षक और पुत्र की भांति माता को ढाढस बंधा रहे हैं कि सहायता मार्ग में है और वह अति शीघ्र पहुँचेगी।
