मम पृष्ठगतौ तौ च चन्द्रसूर्याविवोदितौ ।
त्वत्सकाशं महासत्त्वौ नृसिंहावागमिष्यतः ।

Mama pṛṣṭhagatau tau ca candrasūryāvivoditau । Tvatsakāśaṃ mahāsattvau nṛsiṃhāvāgamiṣyataḥ । ॥5-39-41॥
Translation
Those two mighty lions among men (Rama and Lakshmana) will come into your presence riding on my back, like the rising Sun and Moon.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे दोनों महाबली पुरुषसिंह (राम और लक्ष्मण) मेरी पीठ पर चढ़कर, उदित होते हुए सूर्य और चन्द्रमा की भाँति आपके समीप आएंगे।
English Commentary
This verse is both picturesque and prophetic. Hanuman explicitly states his role as the carrier of the divine brothers. Comparing Rama and Lakshmana to the Sun and Moon highlights their complementary natures—the scorching valor of the Sun and the soothing grace of the Moon. The epithet "nrisimhau" (lions among men) emphasizes their martial supremacy. Hanuman paints a visual of these two celestial forces piercing the darkness of Lanka to appear before Sita, riding upon his own shoulders.

यह श्लोक अत्यंत चित्रात्मक और भविष्यसूचक है। हनुमान जी स्पष्ट करते हैं कि वे स्वयं राम और लक्ष्मण के वाहन बनेंगे। यहाँ राम और लक्ष्मण की तुलना सूर्य और चन्द्रमा से की गई है, जो क्रमशः तेज और शीतलता (सौम्यता) का प्रतीक हैं। 'नृसिंहौ' (मनुष्यों में सिंह) विशेषण उनके शौर्य को दर्शाता है। हनुमान जी यह चित्र खींच रहे हैं कि किस प्रकार अन्धकार (लंका का शोक) को चीरते हुए ये दो तेजस्वी ग्रह सीता जी के आकाश में उदित होंगे।
