निहते राक्षसेन्द्रे ऽस्मिन् सपुत्रामात्यबान्धवे ।
त्वं समेष्यसि रामेण शशाङ्केनेव रोहिणी ।

Nihate rākṣasendre 'smin saputrāmātyabāndhave । Tvaṃ sameṣyasi rāmeṇa śaśāṅkeneva rohiṇī । ॥5-39-45॥
Translation
When this lord of Rakshasas is killed along with his sons, ministers, and kinsmen, you will be reunited with Rama just as Rohini is reunited with the Moon.

पुत्रों, मंत्रियों और भाई-बन्धुओं सहित इस राक्षसराज (रावण) के मारे जाने पर, आप राम से वैसे ही मिलेंगी जैसे रोहिणी चन्द्रमा से मिलती है।
English Commentary
The reunion of Rohini (a favorite constellation/wife) and the Moon is a classical Sanskrit metaphor for an eternal and perfect union. Hanuman predicts the total annihilation of Ravana's support structure—sons, ministers, and kin—ensuring no threats remain. This comparison elevates the relationship of Rama and Sita to a celestial level, assuring her that their reunion is destined and natural, following the inevitable destruction of the forces of evil keeping them apart.

भारतीय साहित्य में रोहिणी और चन्द्रमा का मिलन अटूट प्रेम और नित्य संयोग का प्रतीक माना जाता है। हनुमान जी भविष्यवाणी करते हैं कि रावण का विनाश समूल होगा ('सपुत्रामात्यबान्धवे' - पुत्रों और मंत्रियों सहित)। यह पूर्ण विनाश ही सीता और राम के निर्बाध मिलन का मार्ग प्रशस्त करेगा। यह उपमा सीता जी को यह विश्वास दिलाने के लिए है कि उनका राम से पुनर्मिलन ब्रह्मांडीय नियमों की तरह अटल और पवित्र है।
