क्षिप्रं त्वं देवि शोकस्य पारं यास्यसि मैथिलि ।
रावणं चैव रामेण निहतं द्रक्ष्यसे ऽचिरात् ।

॥५-३९-४६॥
Kṣipraṃ tvaṃ devi śokasya pāraṃ yāsyasi maithili । Rāvaṇaṃ caiva rāmeṇa nihataṃ drakṣyase 'cirāt । ॥5-39-46॥
Translation
O Devi Maithili! You shall soon cross to the other shore of your sorrow, and before long, you shall see Ravana slain by Rama.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे देवि मैथिली! आप शीघ्र ही शोक (रुपी सागर) के पार हो जाएंगी और बहुत जल्दी ही रावण को राम के द्वारा मारा गया देखेंगी।
English Commentary
Addressing her as "Maithili" recalls her noble lineage from King Janaka, reminding her of her inherent strength. The phrase "shokasya param" (the other shore of sorrow) metaphorically treats her grief as an ocean that she is about to cross. The repetition of urgency through words like "kshipram" (quickly) and "acirat" (without delay) is crucial here; Hanuman is battling her despair by insisting that the timeline for her rescue is immediate, not distant.

यहाँ 'मैथिली' संबोधन सीता के जनक-कुल और उनके संस्कारों का स्मरण कराता है। 'शोकस्य पारं' (शोक के पार) एक मुहावरेदार अभिव्यक्ति है, जिसका अर्थ है दुखों का अंत होना। हनुमान जी बार-बार 'क्षिप्रं' (शीघ्र) और 'अचिरात्' (बिना देर किए) शब्दों का प्रयोग कर रहे हैं ताकि सीता जी को यह न लगे कि उन्हें अभी और लंबा इंतजार करना होगा। यह श्लोक सांत्वना की पराकाष्ठा है।
