तमरिघ्नं कृतात्मानं क्षिप्रं द्रक्ष्यसि राघवम् ।
लक्ष्मणं च धनुष्पाणिं लङ्काद्वारमुपस्थितम्* ।
।
॥५-३९-४८॥
Tamarighnaṃ kṛtātmānaṃ kṣipraṃ drakṣyasi rāghavam । Lakṣmaṇaṃ ca dhanuṣpāṇiṃ laṅkādvāramupasthitam । ॥5-39-48॥
Translation
You shall soon see Raghava, the destroyer of enemies and of self-controlled soul, and Lakshmana, bow in hand, standing at the gates of Lanka.
हिंदी अनुवाद
आप शीघ्र ही शत्रुओं का नाश करने वाले, पुण्यात्मा राघव (राम) को और हाथ में धनुष धारण किए लक्ष्मण को लंका के द्वार पर उपस्थित देखेंगी।
English Commentary
Hanuman visualizes the imminent siege for Sita. Rama is described with balanced attributes: "arighnam" (killer of foes) shows his martial power, while "kritatmanam" (pure-souled/disciplined) shows his dharmic nature. Lakshmana is depicted "dhanushpanim" (bow in hand), ready for instant action. By placing them mentally at the "Lanka-dvaram" (gates of Lanka), Hanuman brings the rescue force from a distant concept to an immediate, physical reality right at her doorstep.

हनुमान जी सीता के मन-मस्तिष्क में एक विजय का दृश्य स्थापित कर रहे हैं। राम के लिए 'अरिल्नम्' (शत्रुनाशक) और 'कृतात्मानम्' (सफल/संयत आत्मा वाले) विशेषण प्रयुक्त हैं। लक्ष्मण का 'धनुष्पाणिं' (हाथ में धनुष लिए) रूप युद्ध की तत्परता दिखाता है। 'लंकाद्वारमुपस्थितम्' कहकर वे यह बताते हैं कि युद्ध अब दूर नहीं, बल्कि शत्रु के दरवाजे पर दस्तक देने वाला है। यह सीता के लिए अत्यंत आशाजनक दृश्य है।
