यथा स च महाबाहुर्मां तारयति राघवः ।
अस्माद्दुःखाम्बुसंरोधात्त्वं समाधातुमर्हसि ।

yathā sa ca mahābāhurmāṃ tārayati rāghavaḥ |
asmādduḥkhāmbusaṃrodhāttvaṃ samādhātumarhasi ॥5-39-9॥
Translation
You must arrange things in such a way that the mighty-armed Raghava rescues me from this confinement which is like an ocean of sorrow.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे हनुमान! तुम ऐसा प्रयत्न (समाधान) करना जिससे वे महाबाहु राघव मुझे इस दुःख रूपी सागर के बंधन से पार लगा सकें (उद्धार कर सकें)।
English Commentary
Sita uses a metaphor, comparing her situation to being trapped in an "ocean of sorrow" (dukhambusamrodhat). She addresses Rama as "Mahabahu" (mighty-armed), acknowledging his power, but implies that this power needs to be channeled correctly to rescue her. She explicitly tells Hanuman "samadhatum arhasi" (you ought to arrange/reconcile), indicating that the burden of initiating the rescue strategy lies with Hanuman's report to Rama.

सीता जी यहाँ रूपक अलंकार का प्रयोग करती हैं। उनकी कैद और वियोग एक 'दुःखाम्बु' (दुःख का जल/सागर) है। वे राम को 'महाबाहु' कहती हैं, जो उनकी शक्ति का परिचायक है, लेकिन उस शक्ति को सही दिशा देने का कार्य हनुमान का है ('त्वं समाधातुमर्हसि')। सीता हनुमान पर यह दायित्व डाल रही हैं कि वे राम को उत्तेजित और प्रेरित करें ताकि वे लंका पर आक्रमण कर सीता को मुक्त कराएं।
