ध्वजीन् पताकिनश्चैव ददर्श विविधायुधान् ।
शक्ति वृक्ष आयुधामः चैव पट्टिश अशनि धारिणः ॥५-४-२०॥
dhvajīn patākinaścaiva dadarśa vividhāyudhān |
śakti vṛkṣa āyudhāṃś caiva paṭṭiśa aśani dhāriṇaḥ ॥5-4-20॥
Translation
Hanuman saw guards equipped with standards and flags, bearing various kinds of weapons. They held weapons such as the Shakti (spear), trees used as missiles, Pattisha (sharp-edged spear), and thunderbolts.

हनुमान जी ने उन रक्षकों को देखा जो ध्वजा और पताकाओं से युक्त थे और विविध प्रकार के आयुध धारण किये हुए थे। उनके हाथों में शक्ति, वृक्ष, पट्टिश और वज्र (अशनि) जैसे अस्त्र थे।
