यथा च स महाबाहुर्मां तारयति राघवः ।
अस्माद्दुःखाम्बुसंरोधात् त्वं समाधातुमर्हसि ।

yathā ca sa mahābāhurmāṃ tārayati rāghavaḥ |
asmādduḥkhāmbusaṃrodhāt tvaṃ samādhātumarhasi ॥5-40-23॥
Translation
And, you ought to arrange things in such a way that the mighty-armed Raghava rescues me from this obstruction of the ocean of sorrow.
हिंदी अनुवाद
और हे हनुमान! तुम ऐसा प्रयत्न (समाधान) करना जिससे वे महाबाहु राघव (राम) मुझे इस दुःख रूपी सागर के बंधन से पार लगा सकें (मेरा उद्धार कर सकें)।
English Commentary
Sita entrusts the logistical success of the rescue to Hanuman. She asks him to orchestrate events (samādhātumarhasi - you ought to arrange/reconcile) such that Rama acts immediately. She uses the metaphor of the duḥkhāmbusaṃrodhāt (the obstruction/confinement caused by the ocean of sorrow) to describe her captivity. She implores Hanuman to ensure that the "Mighty-armed" (mahābāhu) Rama utilizes his strength to pull her out of this depth. It emphasizes that Hanuman's role is not passive delivery of news, but active advocacy for her immediate rescue.

सीता जी हनुमान को केवल सन्देशवाहक नहीं, बल्कि एक रणनीतिकार और मध्यस्थ मान रही हैं। वे कहती हैं 'त्वं समाधातुमर्हसि' (तुम्हें ऐसा प्रबंध/समाधान करना चाहिए)। वे चाहती हैं कि हनुमान राम को इस तरह प्रेरित करें कि वे शीघ्र लंका आएँ। यहाँ सीता की स्थिति की तुलना एक ऐसे व्यक्ति से की गयी है जो 'दुःखाम्बुसंरोधात्' (दुःख रूपी जल के घेरे/बाढ़) में फंसा है और उसे 'तारने' (बचाने) की आवश्यकता है। यह हनुमान के कन्धों पर एक बड़ी जिम्मेदारी डालना है कि राम का आना अब हनुमान के निवेदन कौशल पर निर्भर करता है।
