स च वाग्भिः प्रशन्ताभिर्गमिष्यन् पूजितस्तया ।
तस्माद्देशादपक्रम्य चिन्तयामास वानरः ।

sa ca vāgbhiḥ praśantābhirgamiṣyan pūjitastayā |
tasmāddeśādapakramya cintayāmāsa vānaraḥ ॥5-41-1॥
Translation
Being honored by her (Sita) with soothing words as he was about to depart, that Vanara moved away from that spot and began to reflect.

सीता जी के द्वारा शांतिपूर्ण और आशीर्वाद रूपी वचनों से सम्मानित (पूजित) होकर, वहां से जाने को उद्यत उस वानर (हनुमान) ने उस स्थान से थोड़ा हटकर विचार करना आरम्भ किया।
English Commentary
This verse opens the 41st Sarga, marking a transition from the emotional farewell to strategic calculation. Hanuman has been pūjitaḥ (honored/worshipped) by Sita with blessings, which serves as his spiritual armor. He moves away from her immediate vicinity (tasmāddeśādapakramya) to ponder his next move. This physical distancing is crucial; he intends to formulate a plan that involves violence and chaos, and he respectfully distances Sita from the immediate epicenter of his destructive contemplation. It demonstrates his mindfulness and protective nature towards her, ensuring his upcoming aggressive actions do not immediately disturb her peace.

यहाँ से 41वां सर्ग प्रारम्भ होता है, जहाँ हनुमान जी एक नये आयाम में प्रवेश करते हैं—रणनीति और युद्ध। सीता जी से विदा लेते समय उन्हें 'प्रशन्ताभिः वाग्भिः' (शांतिपूर्ण/कल्याणकारी वचनों) का आशीर्वाद मिला। 'तस्माद्देशादपक्रम्य' (उस स्थान से हटकर) का विशेष महत्व है; हनुमान जी सीता के सानिध्य में कोई उपद्रव नहीं करना चाहते थे जिससे उन्हें कष्ट हो, इसलिए वे एकांत में जाकर अपनी अगली योजना पर विचार करने लगे। अब वे केवल एक 'दूत' नहीं, बल्कि राम के 'सेनापति' के रूप में सोच रहे हैं कि लंका के विनाश की नींव कैसे रखी जाए। यह श्लोक भक्ति भाव से वीर रस की ओर संक्रमण (transition) है।
