तस्योग्ररूपस्योग्र त्वं दण्डमाज्ञातुमर्हसि ।
सीता संभाषिता येन तद्वनं च विनाशितम् ।
।

Tasyograrūpasyogra tvaṃ daṇḍamājñātumarhasi |
Sītā saṃbhāṣitā yena tadvanaṃ ca vināśitam ॥5-42-20॥
Translation
"O fierce one! You ought to order a severe punishment for that one of fierce form, by whom Sita was spoken to and that forest destroyed."

"हे उग्र स्वभाव वाले (रावण)! आप उस उग्र रूप वाले वानर के लिए प्राणदंड (कठोर दंड) की आज्ञा दीजिये, जिसने सीता के साथ बातचीत की है और इस वन को नष्ट कर दिया है।"
English Commentary
The guards appeal to Ravana's authority, demanding daṇḍam (punishment). They cleverly mirror the attribute ugra (fierce/terrible), applying it to the monkey's form and implicitly appealing to Ravana's own fierce nature to mete out justice. They prioritize the offenses: talking to Sita (sītā saṃbhāṣitā) is mentioned before the destruction of the forest, indicating that the breach of isolation is the graver insult to the King.
