निर्ययुर्भवनात् तस्मात्कूटमुद्गरपाणयः ।
महोदरा महादंष्ट्रा घोररूपा महाबलाः ।
युद्धाभिमनसः सर्वे हनुमद्ग्रहणोन्मुखाः ।

Niryayurbhavanāt tasmātkūṭamudgarapāṇayaḥ |
Mahodarā mahādaṃṣṭrā ghorarūpā mahābalāḥ |
Yuddhābhimanasaḥ sarve hanumadgrahaṇonmukhāḥ ॥5-42-26॥
Translation
Those mighty Rakshasas—with huge bellies, large fangs, and terrible forms—departed from that palace holding iron hammers and clubs in their hands. All were eager for battle and intent on capturing Hanuman.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे सभी बड़े पेट वाले, बड़े दाँतों वाले, भयानक रूप वाले और महाबली राक्षस, हाथों में कूट (हथौड़े) और मुद्गर लेकर, युद्ध की इच्छा से और हनुमान को पकड़ने के लिए तत्पर होकर उस भवन से निकले।
English Commentary
The visual description of the Kinkaras is intimidating: mahodarā (pot-bellied) and mahādaṃṣṭrā (huge-fanged), wielding heavy blunt weapons like kūṭa (hammers) and mudgara (clubs). These weapons are designed for crushing, fitting for a capture mission. The phrase yuddhābhimanasaḥ (minds set on war) reveals their eagerness for violence. They march out not just to arrest a spy, but to engage in combat, setting the stage for the first mass confrontation of the Sundarakanda.
