Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
अर्दयित्वा पुरीं लङ्कामभिवाद्य च मैथिलीम् ।
समृद्धार्थो गमिष्यामि मिषतां सर्वरक्षसाम् ।
।
॥५-४३-१०॥
Ardayitvā purīṃ laṅkāmabhivādya ca maithilīm । Samṛddhārtho gamiṣyāmi miṣatāṃ sarvarakṣasām । । ॥5-43-10॥
Translation
"After destroying the city of Lanka and offering salutations to Maithili (Sita), having accomplished my purpose, I shall depart while all the Rakshasas look on helplessly."

"लंका पुरी का विध्वंस करके और मैथिली (सीता) को प्रणाम करके, अपना कार्य सिद्ध कर, मैं सभी राक्षसों के देखते-देखते यहाँ से चला जाऊँगा।"
English Commentary
This verse serves as the mission statement. By repeating it, Hanuman confirms that his actions (burning the grief-forest, killing Kinkaras, climbing the Chaitya) are all proceeding exactly according to plan. The phrase Samṛddhārtho (having accomplished the purpose) now carries more weight as the destruction is visible. It reinforces the inevitability of his success and the helplessness of the Rakshasas (miṣatāṃ), framing the unfolding chaos not as a battle, but as a systematic execution of a pre-announced plan.

यह संकल्प श्लोक है। हनुमान जी अपनी 'To-Do List' (कार्य सूची) पुनः सुनाते हैं। इसमें एक सूक्ष्म अंतर है—अब वे 'अर्दयित्वा' (विध्वंस करके) की प्रक्रिया में सक्रिय रूप से शामिल हैं, क्योंकि उन्होंने अशोक वाटिका और चैत्यप्रासाद को नष्ट कर दिया है। 'मिषतां सर्वरक्षसाम्' (राक्षसों के देखते-देखते) वाक्यांश अब और भी अधिक चुभने वाला है क्योंकि उन्होंने अभी-अभी किंकर राक्षसों को मारा है। यह सिद्ध करता है कि उनकी यह घोषणा केवल कोरी धमकी नहीं, बल्कि एक अटल सत्य है जिसे राक्षस अपनी आँखों से देख रहे हैं।
