अटन्ति वसुधां कृत्स्नां वयमन्ये च वानराः ।
।
॥५-४३-२०॥
Aṭanti vasudhāṃ kṛtsnāṃ vayamanye ca vānarāḥ .. ॥5-43-20॥
Translation
We, and many other Vanaras, roam across the entire earth.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हम तथा अन्य अनेकों वानर सम्पूर्ण पृथ्वी पर विचरण करते रहते हैं।
English Commentary
In this verse, Hanuman emphasizes the ubiquity and mobility of the Vanara army. By stating that he and others roam the 'entire earth' (kṛtsnāṃ vasudhāṃ), he serves a dual purpose: asserting the extensive reach of King Sugriva's command and instilling psychological fear in the Rakshasas. It dispels the notion that the Vanaras are merely forest dwellers confined to a specific region. Instead, it portrays them as a global force capable of traversing vast distances. This is a strategic warning that Lanka's isolation by the sea is no longer a guarantee of safety, as the Vanara forces possess the capability to locate and reach any corner of the globe.

हनुमान जी यहाँ राक्षसों को वानर सेना की व्यापकता और गतिशीलता का परिचय दे रहे हैं। उनका उद्देश्य शत्रु के मन में भय उत्पन्न करना है कि वानर केवल किष्किन्धा तक सीमित नहीं हैं, अपितु उनका गुप्तचर तन्त्र और सैन्य शक्ति पूरी पृथ्वी पर फैली हुई है। 'अटन्ति' शब्द का प्रयोग निरंतर भ्रमण और सतर्कता को दर्शाता है। यह कथन इस बात का संकेत है कि सुग्रीव की आज्ञा से वानर वीर सीता जी की खोज में दिशा-दिशा में फैल चुके हैं और लंका भी उनकी पहुँच से बाहर नहीं है। हनुमान जी यह स्पष्ट कर रहे हैं कि वे अकेले नहीं हैं; उनके पीछे एक विशाल और सर्वव्यापी शक्ति खड़ी है जो कभी भी यहाँ पहुँच सकती है।
