ईदृग्विधैस्तु हरिभिर्वृतो दन्तनखायुधैः ।
शतैः शतसहस्रैश्च कोटीभिरयुतैरपि ।
आगमिष्यति सुग्रीवः सर्वेषां वो निषूदनः ।
।

Īdṛgvidhaistu haribhirvṛto dantanakhāyudhaiḥ . Śataiḥ śatasahasraiśca koṭībhirayutairapi . Āgamiṣyati Sugrīvaḥ sarveṣāṃ vo niṣūdanaḥ .. ॥5-43-23॥
Translation
Surrounded by hundreds, hundreds of thousands, crores, and ayutas of such Vanaras who use their teeth and nails as weapons, Sugriva will come to destroy you all.
हिंदी अनुवाद
दाँतों और नाखूनों को ही आयुध मानने वाले, इस प्रकार के सैकड़ों, लाखों, करोड़ों और अयुत (दस हजार) वानरों से घिरे हुए सुग्रीव आप सबका संहार करने के लिए शीघ्र ही आएँगे।
English Commentary
Hanuman culminates his warning by identifying the leader and the sheer scale of the invasion. He explicitly mentions that Sugriva is coming specifically as their 'destroyer' (niṣūdanaḥ). The description of weapons—teeth and nails—highlights the primal, ferocious nature of the Vanaras, contrasting them with the weapon-dependent Rakshasas. The vast numbers cited (hundreds of thousands, crores) serve to overwhelm the imagination of the enemy. Hanuman is effectively telling the Rakshasas that they will be swarmed by a natural force that relies on innate physical power rather than manufactured weaponry, led by a king determined to end them.

इस श्लोक में हनुमान जी सेना की संख्या और उनके अस्त्र-शस्त्रों का भयानक चित्र खींचते हैं। 'दन्तनखायुधैः' (दाँत और नाखून ही जिनके हथियार हैं) कहकर वे यह बताते हैं कि वानरों को किसी कृत्रिम शस्त्र की आवश्यकता नहीं है; उनका शरीर ही वज्र समान है। संख्याओं का विशाल वर्णन (कोटि, अयुत) एक समुद्र जैसी सेना का बोध कराता है। 'वो निषूदनः' (आप सबका संहारक) विशेषण सुग्रीव के लिए प्रयुक्त हुआ है, जो यह निश्चित करता है कि वानर राज का आगमन केवल युद्ध के लिए नहीं, अपितु पूर्ण विनाश के लिए होगा। यह कूटनीतिक 'साम, दाम, भेद' के बाद 'दण्ड' का स्पष्ट उद्घोष है।
